As well as dreaming of a white Christmas, this time of year often sees us fantasising about sunshine, sand and crystal-clear seas.

Planning next year’s holiday is as traditional as turkey and tinsel. And while most of us make do with a couple of weeks in Spain, for the super rich it’s a different world.

Indeed, they have ‘special people’ who organise every cough and spit for them. And some of the things these fixers get asked to do!

Take the family who rented a 4,000-sq-ft luxury hotel suite for themselves but requested the nanny sleep in the bathroom.

Or the millionaire who had a huge party in St Moritz costing hundreds of thousands. Yet asked his PA to be given a food budget of ¤ 5 a day.

And evidently, some rich men request that their wife and family be put up in one luxury villa – while the mistress gets an even better one next door!
