SUGGEST THERAPY
‘Guide them towards professional support – as much as you want to help your loved one, the best thing you can do is talk to them about getting the appropriate help. Encourage them to speak to their GP or a private therapist.’

‘It’s easy to worry about saying the wrong thing, but if you notice that something’s up, ask them directly. And make sure you ask twice.’
LISTEN WHEN THEY WANT TO TALK
‘Don’t take it personally if your friend doesn’t always pick up the phone or reply to your messages. Let them know you’re there for them whenever they need you.’
