Dear Keren

Woman's Weekly (UK) - - Health -

I work in a small organisation that I know is financially not very sound. I worry all the time about my future, as I think we could fold at any time. My husband and friends persuaded me (as I expect they were fed up with hearing me moan) to go on a course to develop my skills, so I enrolled on a management course that a friend had done last year. It has cost me a lot of money. It started well enough, but the organisation has run into some issues of its own and I’m no longer getting much from it. I also have to deal with the rest of the group, who spend a lot of time complaining, and this affects any event that is put on and stops me learning anything. I can’t get my money back and I feel very resentful. Janice,

You can still learn a lot from this experience
