Knitting: Cosy cable with a twist

Knitting Editor Teresa We’ve given our sumptuous cable sweater a stylish twist by making the panels asymmetric. This truly unique and wearable piece is knitted in an extra-fine merino Aran yarn.

MATERIALS

16 (17) (18) 50g (100m) balls of sublime extra Fine Merino Worsted (100% merino wool) in red (red truffle 0537)*. Pair of 4mm (no.8) and 4.5mm (no.7) needles; cable needle. Yarn is available from theknittin­gnetwork.co.uk.

29 stitches and 26 rows, to 10 x 10cm, over main pattern, using 4.5mm needles.
