Your brain uses nutrients from the food you eat to form the individual parts of its cells, to provide the fuel and build the proteins it needs to function, and to protect the brain’s neurons against injury.

To preserve your mind specifical­ly, your diet should be chock-full not just of any nutrients, but of those that most dynamicall­y achieve this goal.
