A cream that helps dry skin And my hair!

-

As I’ve got older my skin has got drier. As you age everything dries up and drops! I work in a hospital so it’s always really dry and hot anyway, which doesn’t help.

I don’t like to use toiletries or cosmetics that are tested on animals, so I was on a website listing companies that avoid this and Odylique came up. I was impressed with its website so sent for a few testers and they were lovely – all natural and organic – so I ordered a bigger size of the Ultra Rich Balm. I use it all over when my skin feels dry – as a face and body moisturiser. I had a little patch of eczema on my leg and it got rid of that.

It’s fantastic for dry lips, cuticles and nails. I use it on my hands a lot because I wash them constantly at work and the balm is so rich it really softens and moisturises them. It’s works wonders on cracked heels, too. A smear of that on my feet before I go to bed and they’re lovely in the morning. A brilliant multi-purpose balm, it’s also great for holidays. You don’t have to take loads of jars – just the one.

I even add it to the ends of my hair, which is very curly and prone to frizz. If it’s extra frizzy and I haven’t got time to wash it in the morning, I smear a bit on the ends to bring it under control!

I’ve used lots of products over the years and I’ve found this the best for helping dry skin. It’s not too pricey either as a pot lasts for ages – because the cream is so rich you don’t need to use much. Odylique Ultra Rich Balm, £19 for 175g; £1.75 for a 5ml tester pot, from odylique.co.uk.
