Christmas foods that are toxic to pets

Grapes and raisins – remember these are in lots of festive food such as mince pies, Christmas puddings and cakes.

Chocolate – this is a big one, and a real danger for dogs. Don’t leave wrapped presents containing chocolate under the tree, or hang chocolates on the tree.

Alcohol – a definite no-no for any pet.

Onions and garlic – two foods that people often overlook, and that are found in things like gravy and stuffing.
