Health choices
Nutritionist Lee Holmes reveals how she boosts her health and wellbeing.
My go-to remedy
I love garlic! I use it with everything and, especially if I feel like I’m coming down with a cold or the
flu, I make my 42-clove garlic soup recipe. It puts hairs on your chest and
definitely stops colds in
their tracks.
My favourite meal
I love salmon, pan-fried with a crispy skin, with garlic chips, a serving of green beans and my famous turmeric-baked cauliflower on the side.
How i keep fit and healthy
I go to yoga four times a week, I teach yoga weekly and I love
Body Balance at the gym. I do intermittent fasting twice a week, look after my gut with my Love Your Gut powder and have a balanced diet. I also try to limit processed foods and I enjoy cooking at home.
My perfect day
I love to get up early, go to the gym and then come back for a smoothie before taking my dog Oscar for a walk. After breakfast with my husband, I see my daughter for brunch. Then we’ll maybe watch a good movie together. In the afternoon, I might go to the beach or for a walk and then cook a lovely dinner for the family and sit around and talk. As you can see, my perfect day involves lots of food!
