Carol Topper, 54, from Lanarkshire, created a playlist with her husband, Malcolm, after being diagnosed with early-onset dementia in 2016.

‘They can be any songs that mean something to you and bring back a memory,’ she explains. ‘When I’m sad or low or feeling grumpy, Malcolm puts my CD on and I’m up dancing.’
