MATERIALS

4 (4) (5) 50g (165m) balls of Sirdar Snuggly DK (55% Nylon, 45% Acrylic) in Cream (Rice Pud 446) and a small amount in Blue (Soldier Blue 412)*. Size 3mm and 3.5mm crochet hooks; 4 buttons. Yarn is available from theknittin­gnetwork.co.uk.

TENSION

22 stitches and 24 rows, to 10 x 10cm over pattern, using 3.5mm hook.

3 sts of last row before neck shaping, working 3dc in each corner, do not turn. Work

1 row of reverse dc. Fasten off.

COLLAR EDGING

With right side facing and using 3mm hook, join Blue to first row of collar of left side, 1ch, work 1 row of dc around collar, do not turn. Work 1 row of reverse dc. Fasten off.

POCKET TOPS (BOTH ALIKE)

With right side facing and using 3mm hook, join Blue at top edge of pocket, 1ch, work 1dc in each st to end, do not turn. Work 1 row of reverse dc. Fasten off.

TO MAKE UP

Catch down pocket linings and sides of pocket edgings. Join sleeve seams, reversing seam on first 7 rows for cuffs. Sew in sleeves. Add buttons. Catch together front and collar edgings. Turn back cuffs.
