Layering Cheese plants

-

Air layering works well with cheese plants if you fancy something a little more adventurous. Find a node on a healthy stem and make a small cut just below the bump. Take some sphagnum moss and dampen before packing it around the cut on the stem. Tie some cling film at the top and bottom of the cut stem so the moss is secure. After a few months, making sure the moss remains damp, roots will appear from the cut. You can then cut the stem off below the roots and pot on in compost.
