Fight dementia with a cuppa

Drinking tea and coffee, and eating plenty of fruit, vegetables and beans can help avoid dementia, according to a study by the University of Athens.

Researcher­s there monitored people in their 70s for three years and found that the third of volunteers who ate the least amount of these inflammati­on-lowering foods and drinks were three times more likely to develop dementia than the third who ate the most.
