✢ Use high-factor (50+) sunscreen, available on prescription if you have lupus. Wear a hat in the sun, don’t sit in direct sunlight, and avoid fluorescent lighting.
✢ Try relaxation techniques to control anxiety, as stress can make symptoms worse. Stop smoking, eat a healthy balanced diet, and take vitamin D and calcium supplements.
