CROSS-STITCH CARD

This gorgeous handmade card is great for many occasions – whether it’s to say thank you, happy birthday, or welcome a new baby... In fact, he is so cute, you could frame him!

Mount the aida fabric securely in the embroidery hoop, this will keep the work taut, making it easier to handle while stitching and helping to minimise any distortion.

The chart shows the complete design for our owl card. Each coloured square on the chart represents one cross-stitch and the cross-stitch key indicates the colour of wool to be used. (Note; the chart is also used for our tapestry key fob so make sure you refer to the cross-stitch key when working the owl card.)

Using two strands of stranded embroidery thread and an embroidery needle, refer to the chart and key to cross-stitch the design.
