Sow and grow
Sow annual climbers indoors in early spring and keep frost-free until safe to plant outdoors.
Fill pots with peat-free compost and scatter seed thinly. Cover with a thin layer of vermiculite. Keep warm (21-24C).
After germination (two to three weeks), transfer each seedling to an individual pot. As the plants grow, add twigs for support.
Harden off in readiness for planting out when all danger of frost has passed.
