Royal memories

Seeing your picture of the late Prince Philip [28 December 2021 issue], both with the Queen on their wedding day and sitting with his great grandson, Prince George, as a toddler, was not only a reminder of how much he is missed, but of how much he did for our country. I believe he helped modernise the monarchy, supported the Queen during her reign, and his award scheme helped thousands of young people. Gloria Wilding, Merseyside
