LET’S SHELLEBRATE!

The Wildlife Trusts are reintroducing thousands of native oysters to estuaries and marinas across the UK. It’s an important project, as native oyster shells create complex reef habitats that shelter young fish, crabs, sea snails and sponges. What’s more, they are expert cleaners – a single oyster can filter 140 litres of water a day!
