Try resting in a quiet, darkened room. Applying a cool flannel to your forehead or a warm flannel to the back of your
neck can give relief.
PAINKILLERS
Take paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Codeine can be useful but avoid using it for more than 10 days or more as it may lead to medicine-overuse headaches.
KEEP A DIARY
Identify what could be triggering headaches. Try altering your diet, activities or lifestyle to prevent them
occurring often.
