Be careful if you take soluble paracetamo­l with high levels of salt, as it might raise your risk of heart disease. The chance of heart attack or failure and stroke for people with high blood pressure increased to 5.6% after a year instead of 4.6% if they regularly took the drug containing high levels of sodium, according to a study published in the European Heart Journal. Experts are pushing for warnings on packets.
