Once you’ve identified the things that matter, look at the way you spend your time and see how often you get a chance to experience them in your week. Do they crop up regularly? You may just need to tweak your schedule to improve the situation – to include time to study or play sport every week, or to fit in quality time with a loved one. But if you currently have very few purposeful or positive experience­s in your week, it’s time to make some bigger changes to bring your life in line with your priorities.
