Review your time
Once you’ve identified the things that matter, look at the way you spend your time and see how often you get a chance to experience them in your week. Do they crop up regularly? You may just need to tweak your schedule to improve the situation – to include time to study or play sport every week, or to fit in quality time with a loved one. But if you currently have very few purposeful or positive experiences in your week, it’s time to make some bigger changes to bring your life in line with your priorities.
