My fail-safe remedy Rest! But it really depends on the issue. I have a remedy for everything. If I could bathe in lavender and chamomile, I would – I just find scent so emotionall­y powerful. I’m a cold bath person, and cryotherap­y is amazing for lots of things – inflammati­on, mood, energy. I was raised on Rescue Remedy for anxiety. Fresh air and a good walk by water is a cure for a lot of mental unrest. My favourite meal

A roast dinner… Because not only is there an amazing mix of flavours, generally, there’s also a huge variety of fresh vegetables. We don’t do meat and two veg. We’re more of a meat and eight veg type of family. It’s a solid healthy meal, topped off with family time around the kitchen table. How I stay fit and healthy

I’ve always been into keeping fit, but it’s changed over the years as I’ve aged, had numerous injuries and my body has naturally changed with menopause. I love to do some sort of class – yoga, spin, barre, dancing or boxing. I’m not so tough on my body these days, but I do try to do something three days a week. My perfect day I love waking up somewhere warmer than the UK! Preferably with the Mediterran­ean crystal blue sea on my doorstep. But that is not on my agenda right now, so a slow morning, with newspapers and a cup of tea in bed, and yoga before breakfast. Some time spent outside, walking the dog, and fun time with my family. I’d also avoid looking at any emails or social media, and instead revel in music, reading, relaxation, great food, laughter and my family. If I can be in bed by 10pm, all the better.
