✢ Open your jaw as wide as is comfortabl­e.

✢ Put your thumb underneath your chin and apply gentle pressure.

✢ Now open your jaw a little further, while applying resistance with your thumb.

✢ Hold for up to 10 seconds. ✢ Repeat five to 10 times.

This breathing technique will prolong the out breath: Breathe in through your nose to the count of four. Pause for one. Breathe out slowly through your mouth for the count of six. Repeat until you feel the tension easing.
