Owning a dog could have a positive effect on your health. Research conducted by Vitalityhe­alth has discovered that 32 per cent of dog owners exercise for at least half an hour every day, in comparison to only 22 per cent of all UK adults. On top of that, Labrador owners are generally the fittest dog owners, with 64 per cent stating that they do more than 30 minutes of exercise a day.
