Most com­mer­cial gyms don’t of­fer strong­man equip­ment, but there are cer­tain moves you could try us­ing ket­tle­bells and tyres, if your gym has them. Team up with some bud­dies, and try farmer’s walks car­ry­ing heavy ket­tle­bells, tyre flips and clean and presses with a bar­bell or sand­bag. Make sure you go through each move slowly fo­cus­ing on good form be­fore start­ing a cir­cuit, for which you should then per­form a minute of each move tak­ing no rest. Take a minute’s rest af­ter a whole cir­cuit has been com­pleted be­fore re­peat­ing it all over for a to­tal of three sets. Al­ways fo­cus on form rather speed or in­ten­sity.
