Stay hydrated

It’s tempting to skip on H20 when the temperatur­es drop, but keeping hydrated will give your skin a boost and curb hunger pangs at the same time. Aim to drink 2 litres of water every day, starting with a large glass of water with the juice of half a lemon before breakfast to help detoxify your insides.

Write a shopping list

The supermarke­ts are filled with festive treats, but writing out a shopping list will minimise any temptation and help you stick to your healthy plan, so spend five minutes scouring your kitchen cupboards and bridge to see exactly what you need to stock up on before hitting the supermarke­t aisles.

Eat slowly

December is one of the busiest times of the year, but it’s important that you allocate time into your day to enjoy meals properly. Make an effort to sit at the dinner table instead of in front of your laptop or telly and take time to chomp on food to minimise bloating and maximise digestion.
