Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Collinge thinks waves are the perfect party trick this Christmas – and Olympic hockey player, Sam Quek MBE, agrees. The best bit? It couldn't be easier. Method

Step 1. Apply CO by Andrew Collinge Volume Mousse to towel dried hair. The light non-sticky formulation of this styling product will give soft hold, body and volume to the hair.

Step 2. Blow-dry the hair using your fingertips. Tip your head forward to create extra movement at the roots. Then smooth out the hair with a large round brush. Separate the hair into medium sized sections and wrap around a medium-tolarge tong or wand.

Step 3. To create texture, work a little CO by Andrew Collinge Definer through the fingers and rake thought the hair to break up the curls. To keep the look in place use CO by Andrew Collinge Firm Hold Hairspray.
