The smokey eye

-

No party season is complete without a classic smokey eye. But if yours tend to be more black-eye than bold eye, here's Steve Douch from STV (stvcosmetics. com) to show us how it's done, using STV'S cruelty free and endurancebased range. Method

Step 1. Using a long-lasting liner in black (or brown for a softer look), go crazy and be imperfect, smudging the pencil into the lash line. Then create a small V-shape into the socket, and, using an eyeshadow brush, carefully blend to soften.

Step 2. Using STV Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette in Magic Bullet, dab Steel Blue over the liner and up to the socket line of the eyes with finger tips or an eyeshadow brush. Then blend, working this under the lash line to enhance the eyes. Use Black Shimmer from the palette and work this into the lash line, finish with highlight into the inner corners of the eyes and work this onto the tops of the cheek bones, and down the centre of the nose and the top of the cupid's bow.

Step 3. One of the most important steps is to frame those eyes and work a little brown pencil or shadow into the eyebrows and brush through, add plenty of mascara to enhance the lashes and finish the look.

Step 4. Using STV Cosmetics Extreme Matte Lipstick in colour Role Model, dab on the lips to enhance naturally. For a more striking look, apply directly from the lipstick or use a lip brush for application.
