From stand­ing, take a wide step out to the side with your right leg, stretch­ing your arms out to the sides at shoul­der­height. Turn your left foot out and bend your knee so that it’s di­rectly above your foot. The right leg should stay straight with the sole of the foot flat on the floor. Bring your right arm to the chest as though you’re about to shoot a bow while the other arm re­mains out­stretched. Reach for­wards with the right arm to bring both hands to meet, then pull back again into the bow po­si­tion. Keep your legs fully en­gaged while you ‘shoot’ 8 arrows. Once com­plete, per­form the set in the op­po­site po­si­tion.
