THE CONTROLLED LATERAL BEAR CRAWL
SAFETY TIP Focus on staying engaged and make sure your hips don’t hike up as you move
Technique
Start on all fours with your hands directly below your shoulders and your knees directly below your hips. Lift your knees so they’re just hovering above the floor. Maintaining a flat back, neutral head position and square pelvis throughout, brace your core and shuffle sideways in small steps by moving your hands and feet. Without dropping your knees back to the floor, do the same in the opposite direction.
