When you sign up to the app, you’re asked to fill in both your ex­er­cise and music pref­er­ences, which Rockmyrun then uses to pro­vide you with music sug­ges­tions for your work­out. There’s a huge va­ri­ety of playlists on of­fer for any ac­tiv­ity, from weight-lift­ing to group fit­ness. You can man­u­ally ad­just the tempo of any music sta­tion or al­low the app to do it au­to­mat­i­cally by analysing your steps per minute or the beat of your heart via Blue­tooth.
