What makes them so quick? Here’s the science bit: featuring a rigid CARBITEX DFX carbon plate, Kinetic Light Foam and SCOTT’S ER2 rocker geometry, the Speed Carbon RC trainer boasts a significant amount of energy return on top of a lightweight fit. This means that the trainers give you back more of the energy you put in.

Wondering what carbon plates are? Sitting in the midsole of a trainer, they’re dynamically flexible and respond to you by increasing stiffness as you increase speed. This gives you more power and efficiency when you need it most. Teamed with the energy-returning Kinetic Light Foam – SCOTT’S most responsive foam to date – and a rocker geometry that reduces heel strike and increases running efficiency, these shoes set you up for speed.

FAST FIT

Made for use on the road and for racing, the trainers boast a 5mm heel-to-forefoot drop and weigh a sprightly 215g – just think of the Speed Carbon RC’S as the shoes you might wear for clocking an interval session or for racing anything from a 10K to a fast longer-distance event.
