(a) Keeping your left knee firmly glued to the floor and your hips static, extend your right leg out to the side, pointing your toe and reaching it away from your body.

(b) Rotate your leg outwards, as if you’re drawing small circles with your big toe. Keep that foot up – don’t let it drop towards the floor.
