SIN­GLE-LEG REACH AND TOUCH

Tar­gets: Glutes, ham­strings, quads, core

(a) Stand with your arms at your sides, weight in your right leg. Keep­ing your back flat, push your hips back and lower your left hand to­wards the floor in front of your right foot. As you lift your left leg be­hind you, cre­ate a straight line from head to toe.

(b) Pause, then re­verse the move­ment to re­turn to the start­ing po­si­tion. Per­form for the re­quired time for your work­out, then switch legs and re­peat.

BUL­GAR­IAN SPLIT SQUAT

Tar­gets: Quads, glutes

(a) Stand about a me­tre in front of a step or bench and place the top of your left foot on it, bend­ing the knee slightly. Keep­ing your back straight and core en­gaged, lean your torso for­ward slightly and bend both knees to lower as far as pos­si­ble.

(b) Hold for a sec­ond, then drive through your right heel to re­turn to the start­ing po­si­tion. Per­form for the des­ig­nated time be­fore switch­ing legs.
