SINGLE-LEG REACH AND TOUCH
Targets: Glutes, hamstrings, quads, core
(a) Stand with your arms at your sides, weight in your right leg. Keeping your back flat, push your hips back and lower your left hand towards the floor in front of your right foot. As you lift your left leg behind you, create a straight line from head to toe.
(b) Pause, then reverse the movement to return to the starting position. Perform for the required time for your workout, then switch legs and repeat.
BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT
Targets: Quads, glutes
(a) Stand about a metre in front of a step or bench and place the top of your left foot on it, bending the knee slightly. Keeping your back straight and core engaged, lean your torso forward slightly and bend both knees to lower as far as possible.
(b) Hold for a second, then drive through your right heel to return to the starting position. Perform for the designated time before switching legs.
