BEST OF BOTH

STEP 1 Start by spraying your hair with Tresemmé Expert Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray, then find your natural parting and section the hair into four parts for the plaits. STEP 2 For the hair that will be down, take different sized sections and wrap them around a Cloud Nine Curling Wand. Twist the hair as you wrap it and leave the ends out of the tong to create an undone look. Once tonged, pull each section down immediately so it sets in a wave, not a curl. STEP 3 Spray your hair with Duck & Dry Oomph! Dry Volume & Texture Spray while running your fingers through the hair to break up the waves. STEP 4 For the two top plaits, take three sections and go under with each section instead of over like a normal French braid – this is a Dutch braid and will create more volume. Carry on adding bits of hair into the braid and keep it tight to the scalp. Finish each braid at the centre of the back of your head and secure together with a hairband. Then wrap a piece of hair around the band and secure with a grip. STEP 5 Create the braids underneath with the same method and secure all four with grips. Pull the braids out slightly to give them an ‘undone’ look. Finally, spray your hair evenly with Duck & Dry Fix Your Quiff All Round Hairspray.
