STEP 1 Detangle your hair and part into a clean middle parting, using a Pro-tip 05 Pintail Comb. Spray Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Strong Roots Spray along the parting to help neaten it up. STEP 2 Clip one side up. Apply

Palmer’s Moisture Repair Raw Shea Curl Cream to the roots of your hair and hairline and comb through to distribute. STEP 3 For the French braid, section the top of your hair into a small triangle with the pin tail and separate three even sections out of the triangle. Place the rightmost strand over the middle strand and then the leftmost strand over the middle strand to start your braid off. STEP 4 Add an even section of hair from either side each time you put an outside strand over the middle. Once at the nape of your neck, tie your braid with an elastic band to create a ponytail, take a small section of hair, spray it with Schwarzkopf Got2b 2 Sexy Volumizing Hairspray (£4.19) and wrap it around the band to hide it. STEP 5 Start your fishtail braid by separating the pony into two sections. Take a small piece of hair from the right side and cross it over to the left, then take a small section of hair from the left side and cross it over to the right and continue until you get to the bottom. Tie with a band. STEP 6 Repeat steps 3-5 on the other side. Once finished, apply hairspray to the braids and comb any flyaways towards the French braid for a perfectly neat finish.
