I’ve always loved sport. When I lived at home in Finland as a child, I competed in long-distance running and cross-country skiing. I was dedicated to classical ballet and, at one point, I thought I’d be a professional dancer. I began working in fashion in Stockholm when companies were racing to establish themselves in the emerging streetwear market. The label I worked for collaborated with Adidas on a project, and my relationship with the brand built from there. I started working on Originals, lifestyle fashion and partnerships with the likes of

Rick Owens and Pharrell. Now,

I’m on the performance side, which allows me to bring together my love of fashion and sport. I feel inspired by the point we’ve reached with sport today. It’s evolved from being niche when I was a child to being so widely embraced.
