Adidas X Karlie Kloss
We launched our partnership with Karlie Kloss in December, and there will be two more drops – one in March and one in September. She’s been a key collaborator with us for some time. Her passion for sport, fashion, tech and innovation is inspiring, and her connection with young women is something we want to celebrate – we want to work with her for them. There’s also a strong sustainability proposition, looking at fabric choices, but not compromising on performance. The aesthetic is more sophisticated but still accessible – you could wear it all day – and it fuses sportswear, leisurewear and performance.
Response Super X
This is an exciting new footwear launch – a running shoe designed with women, by women, for women. A year ago, Adidas made the decision to split its performance wear team to have a more dedicated male and female focus. The result is products like this – a female-specific running shoe with a midsole, heel counter and upper designed to support your movement and needs in terms of support, stability and responsiveness.
Customised yoga
In autumn 2021, we’ll relaunch our yoga wear, with design informed by the environment and mindset of the practice, and drawing inspiration from the four elements – fire, water, earth and air – each focusing on a different yoga discipline. For instance, the fire element will connect to hot yoga, with tech tailored to it. This is a new degree of focus and we’ll continue to develop our yoga offering in 2022.
