BEST FACE FORWARD

The beauty routines, and buys, that help keep Millie looking this fresh

SIMPLIFY

When Sienna was younger, some days I’d get to lunchtime and realise I hadn’t even brushed my teeth or washed my face – and even now I don’t try to maintain an elaborate skincare routine. Each morning, I cleanse, use a serum, moisturise and apply SPF. Even in the winter, or on a grey day, it’s important to me that I have that protection; Heliocare 360° Gel Oil-free Sunscreen SPF50 is my go-to. I love Barbara Sturm’s whole line – simple formulations that focus on hydration – and her The Good C Vitamin C Serum has really helped brighten my skin.

CLEAR

I cleanse in the evenings first with an Eve Lom balm cleanser, then a gentle foaming one by Dr Barbara Sturm to ensure I get everything off. I’ve been struggling lately with maskne – those little spots on the lower half of your face – which means my spot gels have been put through their paces; my favourite is the Acclenz Advanced Action Spot Gel by UK dermatologist Dr Nick Lowe.

SOOTHE

With all the hormonal changes my body’s been through recently, I’ve noticed more redness and sensitivity in my skin, so I’m careful not to exfoliate with anything too harsh. I don’t use a retinol right now, either, but I’ve added Obagi Nu-derm Exfoderm Skin Smoothing Lotion to my arsenal recently, which smooths the skin and helps get rid of dead skin cells.

NOURISH

I’m excited to get a face massage at Facegym and a Hydrafacial at London’s D.thomas Clinic once they reopen. In lockdown, I’ve aimed to use a face mask a couple of times a week to give my skin a little extra love at home. When I get a rare bath time to myself, I love applying Lancôme Advanced Génifique Hydrogel Melting Mask and leaving it on while I soak.
