KEEPING UP WITH KRISSY

-

NOURISH

‘I always start my day with a shot of aloe vera. I’m someone who bloats really easily and it helps a lot. I have it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I’ll prep my breakfast and lunch the night before; overnight oats with chocolate-fudge protein powder, usually followed by roasted vegetables and some protein for lunch.’

CLEANSE

‘I’ve battled with acne since my late teens, so I’ve learned to maintain a simple routine. I use Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash, followed by Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and a La Roche-posay moisturiser. In the morning, I’ll follow that with sun cream and, at night, retinol and tretinoin.’

UNWIND

‘I always start my Sunday with a long walk with Buttons in the forest near my home. After that, I’ll give the house a good clean, meal prep for the week, then settle down on the couch with my phone to answer questions on the Tone & Sculpt forum and Instagram, with Netflix on in the background. The best way I know to unwind is to snuggle up with Buttons and watch some telly – maybe drink a gin and tonic, too.’

CHILL

‘I just finished watching Bridgerton. I loved it, but I wasn’t expecting all the sex scenes. I was like, “All right, Daphne, all right!” I’ve also been watching The Queen’s Gambit and loved that, too. But there are loads of things on Netflix I’ve finished. You name it, I’ve probably watched it.’
