THE BIG APPLE

They built your laptop, your phone and your watch – now they want to build a fitter you

-

There are a few things regular readers of these pages already know. We subscribe to the ‘whatever works for you’ approach to confidence-building, we’re firmly of the view that the transformative power of exercise is for everyone. We’re cheerleaders for diversity in fitness because we know how important it is to feel represented by those you choose to sweat with. Naturally, we’re pleased that Apple Fitness+ is singing from the same song sheet.

When the platform landed in the UK this year, what piqued our interest was the focus on making exercise accessible for all and the diversity of the trainers. Alongside the main trainer in each class are two others performing modifications so you can zone in on whoever is suited to your fitness level. There’s more than 20 trainers on Fitness+’s books, so you’d be hard pressed to not find one you connect with, whether it’s flowing through a yoga class with Molly Fox to blasting a HIIT session with Kim Ngo and repping out strength sets with mum-to-be Betina Gozo, the subscription service is incubating the hottest global training talent out there. With that in mind, we hear their take on some of your fitness questions. Pull up a mat.
