This is an exercise to help you leave behind those things – beliefs, behaviours, actions you tolerate from others – that didn’t serve or enrich you in 2021. ‘Ask yourself: what are you ready to release?’ encourages Paloma. ‘Maybe it’s a belief that you’re the person who “gets things done” for others but at the expense of your own wellbeing.’

First, write down the thought or behaviour, then write why it isn’t working for you. ‘The why is so important,’ she continues. ‘If you say, “I need to quit smoking,” great, but the why – so that I can protect my health, so that I can be around for the years to come – is what will help you truly change the way you live,’ explains Paloma.
