‘Intentions are different from goals – they’re about how you want to feel, rather than goals that are more of a tangible outcome,’ says Paloma. To get clear on how you want to feel in the year ahead, ponder what you’re willing to say yes to and what you need to decide to say no to. ‘I encourage you to check in monthly on these intentions,’ adds Paloma. ‘A lot can happen in a year and it’s easy to forget all of those small shifts you make all the time, which should be celebrated.’ We’ve provided examples to help start the thinking, but aim to land on four or five of your own.
