What is insomnia and what causes it?
Insomnia is clinically defined as a sleep disorder in which someone has trouble falling and/or staying asleep, three or more nights a week for three months or longer, and can range from moderate to severe. In many cases, as Louise has experienced, insomnia can go on for years if left untreated.
