Dis­guised as del­i­cate petals, these deadly as­sas­sins climb onto orchid flow­ers and gen­tly sway. In­sects at­tracted to the flower or the small dark spot on the ab­domen re­sem­bling a fly land near the man­tis, only to be snatched up by the hunter’s light­ning-fast front legs.
