White rhinos are heavier than a car

World of Animals - - Inside Nature’s Tanks -

The white rhinoceros is the largest species, standing up to 1.8 metres (5.9 feet) tall at the shoulder and weighing in at up to 2,700 kilograms (5,952.5 pounds) – twice the weight of a small car. Black rhinos are less hefty, but the average male still tips the scales at an impressive 1,400 kilograms (3,086.5 pounds).

While usually placid, rhinos have been known to charge into an SUV full of tourists
