Juan SOL (1947-2020)

The former Spain defender played almost 400 games for Valencia, and starred in the side that won La Liga in 1971 – the club’s only title between 1947 and 2002. Sol also won the Copa del Rey, European Cup-winners Cup and UEFA Super Cup before winning three league titles at Real Madrid. He returned to the Mestalla as a player, then served on the board of directors and as an ambassador.
