Expressive, twinkle-toed boy wonder winger, who, at the tender age of 18, already seems to have the football world at his feet.
Good enough to make his pro debut for Sociedad as a 16-year-old in December 2018 – the club’s youngest player since the 1930s, and the first player born in the 21st century to play in La Liga for any team – he launched himself into the stratosphere five months later by opening his senior goal account in a highly-memorable 3-1 win over Real Madrid.
Devilishly quick and full of guile, he was held back by injuries last term, but recently broke into Spain’s U21 squad. A senior call-up could be next.
