This energetic, enterprising left-back is yet another example of Real Sociedad’s remarkable capacity to take local lads and mould them into solid professionals.
Now 23, he has been a first-teamer at the Anoeta stadium for the best part of two years, making his debut in the hallowed surroundings of the Bernabeu (in a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid in January 2019). Formerly a winger, he was rumoured to be on his way to Oviedo this summer. Sociedad can only be delighted that it didn’t happen.
