Valencia’s academy has produced a long line of outstanding Spanish left-backs, including Jordi Alba, Juan Bernat, Alex Grimaldo and Jose Gaya, and Centelles hopes to add his name to that list having left the Mestalla in October. Tall, strong and quick, the Spain Under-19 international impressed on loan at Famalicao in Portugal last season, while this campaign he is helping Almeria push for a return to La Liga.
