El Bilal TOURE
REIMS
The attacking powerhouse is already cemented in the Mali national team’s starting line-up, and is beginning to make an impact on Ligue 1 as well.
Reims have him tied down on a five-year contract and on his debut last January, Toure asked to take a penalty that he had won, converted it, and subsequently become the club’s youngest goalscorer in a half century.
Born in the Ivory Coast to immigrant parents, he moved back to Mali at the age of 15 and was in the team that won the African Under-20 Championship in 2019. He has worked hard to become more of a bustling striker, using his body as much as his technical ability to lead the line and create chances.
